These systems are used to support automatic systems, normally of a 1¾” and 2½” diameter with gate valves and fire hoses with brass threaded mandrel or storz-typed joints.
Nozzles may be of the conventional type with straight stream, fog nozzle tip, or also pistol nozzles with the possibility of flow regulation.
